GRIPS ??????
Members, i am watching an auction that the grips on the revolver is the only reason that i am interested. i have bought revolver before just for the grips. this 1 to me is way overpriced. my question, are these grips something that can be found in other places. auction close to ending and i would like to know if these are unique or ????? as most on here probably know, nice grips do ,it for me thanks, kenny

I don't know anything about these except that they look like a rubber grip with a compartment to hold cartridges. These may be really rare grips but I would GUESS they are not and are very inexpensive grips.. They are however, unique which checks one of your boxes.

Seems like I remember those being advertised in the gun rags late 1970's or early 1980's. I also seem to remember reports of the trapdoor popping open to dump the 6 rounds on the ground.

Don't think they were made for long and prob. unbalanced the gun.
I'd find a nice set of Uncle Mike's if I was stocking a similar gun, and it'd be stainless.

Thanks to all for the replies. i was able to stay out of it but a couple bidders had at it. 10-7 $565.01, 40 shipping and would cost me another 20 for FFL transfer. i have been unable to find any info on the web (very unusual) related to said grips. hope that i didn't make major error in judgment. i am gonna keep trying to find more about them. if any of you find something, please let me know. thanks again. kenny

Duel Duty grips
FYI-
You misspelled the name in your WTB ad.
It is Du el Duty Grips, not "Dual".

Somebody gave me a pair similar to those only plastic imitated would. It didn't take long to see why he gave them to me.
I got rid of them because the bullets rattled and the floor plate would come loose at inconvenient times dumping shells in my car seat or on the floor.
That was 50 years ago, they may have improved them a bit by now.

grips
well i found grips with storage of 4 rounds for J frame only. they are a little chunky but the added material makes them fit my hand very well. trap door is very secure on only the slightest rattle.krs
