Yes, peepul who kant spel and youse bad grammer shudd goe bak too skool. Eye often wunder y peepul doant write noe gud no more.
One thing I will say about the apartments I live in, the lower parking lot I use is on a gentle slope, if it does snow everybody cleans off and shovels out their cars and then dumps their snow in a pile on the grass at the foot of the lot. Which makes for a play area for the kiddies.

what's this thing called SNOW?
Down here, riding around in your truck, all covered with MUD, gives you more "Street Cred" as the youngsters call it.
Likewise with 4 Wheelers.

My Pet Peeve are the folks who don’t return their shopping carts to the appropriate location.
Usually at Walmart and other large stores.
If you have a physical problem which limits your mobility, I will gladly push your cart to the cart parking.

Are you talking about the way that you spelled grammar, spelling, atrocious, spell, write, don't, know, street and right?
As far as punctuation:
First paragraph: forums. Capitalize the. atrocious. check,
Second Paragraph on't really need Irregardless. Capitalize the, system. Capitalize kids, kids, swap what for which, on. Capitalize a, drop a couple of periods at the end.

Some good folks have done that for me when they see me pushing a cart with one hand and holding my cane with the other.

I remember my old professor in Commercial Transactions who was a stickler for proper draftsmanship in documents. When I was drafting title insurance requirements and exceptions to coverage his lessons came to the forefront. The courts are not very fond of insurance companies and will interpret any ambiguity in a policy against the insurance company as the maker of the policy, so good draftsmanship was extremely important in what I did. Twenty years after I graduated this professor's words still rang in my ears.

My mother taught me a good lesson in clarity in communication. I was coming home from the chemical plant I was working at for the summer and I happened to see a groundhog by the road. When I got home I said to my mother, "I saw a groundhog coming home from work."
Mom asked, "Where did the groundhog work?"

What gets my goat are people who take their packets of ketchup and mustard that you get in a fast food place and the instructions clearly say "Open this end" and yet they'll open them from the other end.

My wife was driving up the road, and the sheet of snow flew off the roof of a Minvan coming the other direction. The foot of snow and ice on their roof blew off, and almost came through our windshield. Fortunately, she had time to hit the brakes, so it " only" broke our grill and headlight housing, and "only" cost $900 to fix.
THAT'S why it matters to some of us.

What burns my buns is people who get upset over minor stuff. Will it matter in a year? No problem
Stress and anger will kill YOU, not the person that caused you to give YOURSELF stress and anger. It does nothing what so ever to them
If you let other people stress and anger you, your giving them some control over you. Have the self empowerment to let it go and ignore it
Take a breath, think about sitting along the river watching the water flow by and every once in the while hope they drown

My peeves are screaming kids in public places and people who let their dogs bark incessantly.
Also, people who chew their food with their mouths open.
What are the upsides of any of those behaviors?

It stresses out high strung people and causes them to have early deaths.

We all make mistakes in grammar, spelling, and punctuation, but I think when communicating in public one should make the effort to do it correctly.
Especially with spelling.
I am somewhat of a spelling Nazi, and have seen posts here and elsewhere where the spelling was so atrocious that it was difficult or impossible to determine what the OP was trying to say.

There was a time my wife and family drove to see my parents for Christmas. We got six inches of snow the night before we headed out. I cleared the windows before leaving but left the hood, roof and trunk snow covered. By the time I got out of the neighborhood, the hood was clear. When I got to the state route, another driver started tailgating me. I started speeding up but he stayed right on my butt. Then the snow from my roof lifted and fell in his hood and windshield. It looked like a mattress had fallen on his car. I understand it is a pet peeve for some of you but I couldn't stop laughing.

I'm assuming you're joking because I had some clown do exactly that and a sheet of ice and snow came off of the top of his car and took my windshield out. I had to go to the eye doctor to take glass out of my eye's. I could hardly see between the glass and the windshield and was lucky enough that I was in the right lane so I got over to the shoulder without causing an accident. You'd be amazed what ice can do to a windshield at 65 miles per hour on a highway.

He was wrong for tailgating but you were more wrong for not cleaning the car off. It's dangerous and if it happened to you like it did to me you wouldn't find it funny. I find it hard to believe you find it funny that someone could have been injured or that you could have caused an accident.

There is a big difference from a bunch of powdered snow and snow that is frozen and icy. Fresh powdered snow is NOT going to take anyone's window out. I keep a stiff shop broom outside the door. I use it to sweep the porch and shove the snow off my car. If ice has formed on the roof of my car it won't come off with out a hammer and chisel until the car is way warmed up and if it is 20 or 30 below it will never come off. What about the huge lumps of ice that form behind car and truck wheels and then come off and create serious rod hazards. If you got you window busted, You were to close. If he was in the other lane why did it come across the lanes at windshield height. Take a really strong side wind. Gravity don't work that way. With the new mileage restrictions there are semis parked along the road all the time here in the winter. I hardly expect them to get up on top their icy slippery trailers and shovel them off before they take off again. I have a responsibility to watch out and stay back from something I can see is loaded with snow. But, like I said big difference between snow and ice. Ice can form as you go down the road anyway. In the Bering sea going 6 knots huge chunks would form all over our boat even above zero and that was salt water, but then the wind mightt have been blowing 80 or so. A 1" line could become 8" in diameter with ice in just hours.

First of all there was another car in front of me and the ice and snow flew up in the air, over his and hit me. It was a major highway 3 lanes and we were all traveling at least 65. I had plenty of space between myself and the car in front of me that had no snow on it. I was in the right lane or as most call it the slow lane. The ice came off of the roof from the car in front of him. If something goes up in the air and you are traveling at 65 you close that distance pretty fast. And no one said it came from another lane to the left of me. I'm not sure where you came up with that. I also have enough sense not to try to drive close behind trucks since I don't expect them get up there and clean it off. And since you weren't there blaming me for what someone else is to lazy to do (cleaning their car roof off) is ridiculous. Also in the state I was driving N.J where I had lived most of my life it's illegal not to clean ALL of the snow off your car, not just the roof. The fine is between $200 and $1000 if it causes property damage. I guess I should also fine myself for what someone else hasn't done.

I keep the cars cleaned off in the winter by having a garage put on the house when the house was built.
