Blessed
my wife and i decided to go to texas roadhouse for supper. no Christmas party covid and all. work gives gift card to same.
son gives gift card to same. we were seated in a booth that was passed by most coming in. i'm a look you in the eye sort. i will speak to most who do same. hello, how are you and so forth. almost finished with meal a gentleman that i had spoke to is leaving and goes past our table on his way out. he stops, turns around and comes to our table and asked "may i bless you". i was thinking he would like to pray with us. certainly i answer with my hand on my mdl 60. fellow slaps a $100 dollar bill on table and walks away without a word. i am bad about thinkng the worst of people and am useually right. reminds me that most people are good but the others get all the press. a lesson that i should try to remember always. krs

That was so nice of that man. We actually have some people like that up here, too! (PGH, PA). On a much smaller scale, I was in a drive-thru at a local joint; 2 burgers for me and one for my Daisy Dog, last year, 2019 I guess, and the guy in front of me paid for our order. Small change compared to yours, but it's the idea that there are good people out there! Maybe we can all get through all the (stuff) going on today and re-unite.
Peace! Jeff T., PGH PA

A number of years ago I was having breakfast at a diner over in Hanover, PA. The owner came over and told me that somebody there had paid for my breakfast. At some time before she told me a story about a couple who came in a lot with their grown son who had development disabilities. I decided to pass my largess along and gave the owner some money and told her to help buy breakfast for the family the next time they came in. I've subsequently left money with the owner for the same purpose until the diner closed up.
