Default local gun show report

Since it was a BEAUTIFUL day here I took the 70 minute drive to the gun show in Fairfield. Decent small-medium size show. Free parking. No problem getting in. All handguns were about 20-30% overpriced, as usual. Reloading components were scarce and expensive. (i.e. 10 cents each for .40 cal range brass) ammo was, as usual lately, the real eye opener. generic reloads were going for $1 plus per round. Actual factory ammo, nothing special just decent factory ammo, was being asked $2 per round. don't know how many were buying at that price. couldn't find primers to save your soul.

Count your blessings! At least you had a gun show to go to. Our governor has already canceled the next scheduled show. The last local one was in March and it wasn’t all that good because quite a few sellers were no shows.

Right now I'd go to any gun show. Even the local show that I detest, due to the high admission, terrible parking, and high priced food.
The best local show IMO is the Washington County Pa. show about 45 min. drive, but it's been canceled for January. Their next scheduled show is in April. Fingers crossed!

Went to the local gun show here yesterday. I had not been to one in awhile but my nephew is trying to buy a particular gun. There weren't very many guns there at all. The place was full of dealer tables but not many selling guns. There were quite a few ammo sales. I only bothered to check prices at one table and 9mm was $1.00 per round. Glad I don't need any!
