There used to be a can of inserts--usually marked "ANCO" in red white and blue--between the gas pumps at every "filling station". Replacing a wiper was quick, easy and cheap. Having to replace the frames and everything is wasteful, expensive, and annoying.
I get mine at the local Autozone. I had to ask for them.

You can also order them online. Just google "trico windshield wiper refills".

I buy the Costco ones and change them every 6 months, on schedule. They’re very inexpensive but good quality.

Oh also helps I no longer have snow and ice to deal with.

My wife drives a Honda Accord, and the only blades I can find that don't emit a blood curdling screech are factory OEM Honda blades.

All of our pickups get whatever's cheapest. Usually found at Ollie's.

Another good reason to keep your vehicle in the garage.
Soooooooooo get off you dead *ss and clean the trash out
of your garage and put your vehicle in there where it belongs.
This is for my neighbors. Amazes me. Garage full of junk
and vehicle out in the rain and snow.

My 2016 truck came with lifetime servicing. I changed my wiper blades a week before my service appointment. During my appointment the service manager came to the waiting room and told me the "technician" said I needed new wiper blades. I told him no and didn't explain.

I have bought four vehicles from the dealership, I scheduled a little meeting with the dealership manager for the next week. I went in with my receipt for the wiper blades I bought along with the service report from the previous week bearing the wiper blades need replaced customer declined statement circled in red.

The dealership manager wasn't pleased, there were different faces in the service area at my next appointment.

I just put a set of Rain X Expert Fit on my Lincoln. I have no idea what brand I took off because I've only owned the car for 1 year.

I put Bosch Icon 22OE wipers on my Chevy PU. I think this might be the 3rd winter for them. I will probably replace them soon.

Check out 'Project Farm' on You Tube. That guy did a series of tests a few months ago. His testing protocols are sometimes better than Consumer Reports.

My 2017 Nissan Rogue, that I traded in last August, had the original wipers. they were as good as new. First time I ever got more than 6 months out of wiper blades.

The condition of your windshield is huge factor in wiper blade longevity.
