Gifted.
I had mentioned to a good friend that I had an SKS in Vietnam with bring back papers. However I wound up getting medevaced and they didn't ship my SKS with my personal stuff. Well he dropped by today and gifted me an SKS to replace the one I lost. Wow what a buddy.
It's been fitted with a fiberglass folding stock and 30 round magazine. I think returning it to stock will be easy.
I'm on cloud nine.

You'll be on cloud nine until you go buy ammo , unless you already have some .
I would definitely buy that man a beer , or several . Maybe even a steak dinner . When friends give friends firearms , it means something , something you'll remember until the day you die .
