Sometimes hand prints are done, and you can see the actual fingerprints.
It would, and does take a lot of know how to make fakes like that. It definitely would be in the professional range if they knew how to do that stuff.

The Smithsonian guy I referred to above said exactly that. He examined a set of tracks and saw that the musculature was different in each track (as to the muscles tensed) and CORRECT for the terrain being traversed. He said that he only knew of two people in the world with that knowledge, he was one of them, and he didn't do it!

The sheer volume of the footprint evidence is indeed the most compelling argument that there is something out there worth explaining.
When Ray Wallace died back in 2003 or so and his family “confessed” that he was supposedly responsible for the big footprints, as a prank going back to 1958 and a set of carved wooden feet, a lot of people treated it as a scoop and the long sought solution to the sasquatch issue. Made the papers and TV all across the country.
But while Wallace may have faked some prints, accepting that he and possible copy cats were responsible for the wide variety of often anatomically quite complex sets of tracks found and cast over the decades seems harder to believe than the (biologically not impossible) idea that many of them were naturally made.
However, like most sasquatch evidence, it mostly stands in the way of saying that there’s nothing there, rather than positive proof of what may be there

That's exactly the reason why I always carry my Ruger Blackhawk .41 Magnum out in the woods, and while I'm camping.

Warren Sear,
Have you not seen the pic I've been posting of a real Squatch?
If that isn't clear enough, I don't know what is?!?

My philosophy teacher said it was impossible to prove something did NOT exist. (Martians? They just left!)

Hawkeye, do you know anything about the circumstance in which this picture was taken and by whom?
That video I posted in post #17 of something upright going up a mountain in British Columbia, Canada intrigues and baffles me. What else could it be in the middle of nowhere like that, high up in a snow covered desolate mountain range.

The pic was taken from the TV show paranormal caught on camera where a hiker was, I believe in Oregon, and it started snowing, and the Squatch was hiding just inside of a big fir tree, watching the hiker. The Squatch had just got done putting 2 dead dear in a tall fir tree, where it laid the 2 carcasses over a very tall limb.
The hiker was able to get some video as well, but the pics came out much better than the video did..
The video you showed was also aired on the same tv program later last year. I believe what they caught on camera at that distance was an actual Squatch as well.
The amount of terrain it traverses in such a minimal amount of time, in deep mountain snow is amazing.
A regular human isn't able to do that.

I have NO problem with believing Hawkeye. I'll bet BearBio knows more than he is willing to post, also. From much of the response to Hawkeye, you can see why.

I catch up with the vids this gent posts every other day or so. Suffice to say, he reads emails from viewers about their own personal encounters.
He, personally has had two experiences, and his late Grandfather had an intense one, also. ....
