Default Found some good reading

Books by C.J. Box. Just read ‘Longrange’ and am now on ‘ Endangered’. There are more.
Both set in Wyoming and I thought they’re pretty good reading.
Some interesting characters.

He has the Joe Pickett series which are great. but seem to be getting a little weird, like Craig Johnson's Longmire. Do not overlook the stand alone, or the mini series, both good.

Best book I have read is “Shadow Over Babylon”, about an assassination attempt on Sadat Hussein.

Great plot and a book once you start is hard to put down.

A Man at Arms by Steven Pressfield.
Retired Roman legionnaire turned bounty hunter searching for the letter from Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians.
Well written though pretty standard storytelling without a heavy religious tone.

I'm rereading "The maltese falcon". Just noticed I have 3 copies of it one of them in English. Got the movie too.

That is a good series, by C.J. Box. Joe Pickett is great read but how these authors can keep a series going is beyond me. Must be hard work to keep it new an refreshing. You will like Box in all his books.

I, too, like CJ Box. Other favorites include Tony Hillerman and his daughter Anne, Dick Francis and his son Felix, Lee Child, Nelson DeMille, Michael Connelly, Greg Iles, and David Baldacci.
