Picked up a cool Mossberg Model 42 the other day, complete with peep sight. Everything was there and in nice condition, but the stock was dirty & sticky feeling. Within reach was a bottle of Fast Orange hand cleaner, the slightly abrasive liquid stuff. Poured some on a rag, and that stock looked like new in minutes. Great wood cleaner !!

Rikkin: Warning! All those orange based handcleaners will cause steel to rust faster than you can imagine. Ok to clean the stock with it, BUT make sure that you neutralize it with alcohol or WD 40 before putting the barrel/action back into the stock. ... Big Cholla
