I gave my wife a M34-1, 2" in nickle when we were married. The little gun has survived well. Our marriage? Well, our 25th is coming up this fall. The action is not as crisp as it used to be, but with the right ammo, everything still works just fine. I guess the gun still works OK too. (Actually the little .22 is nearly as good as new.)

She, my wife, brought up the other day it would be nice to have the 34-1 engraved for our 25th anniversary. We don't have any ideas of what or where to send it. Has anybody ever seen such a thing done?

Hopefully, you will be able to find an engraver in Alabama, your local gunsmith should be able to put you in contact with someone in state.
If you were in Central Arizona, I would recommend Chrisman & Chrisman Engravers, PO Box 2664, Cottonwood AZ 86326, Business: 928.639.4683, Cell: 928.202.8411, [email protected].
Good luck with your project. Mrs. Duckloads will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Can you engrave without removing the nickel, then have to renickel?
Something to think about?

Maybe a nice carved EPS holster or some other fine holster maker?

For best results, it will need to be taken down to bare metal with no finish.
