How many feel
Naked if you leave your home and don't have your cell phone and
pistol with you?
Not a panic thing but some times want to go back home and get the one I forgot.....

My wallet is about the only item I'll turn back for if I haven't gone too far and truly need for payment duties. Gun or "phone" are optional.I'm just more careful what I do..

Phone and gun. Don’t even walk out to the mailbox across the road without them.

Never leave home without them, unless going to a state I can't carry. Feels strange not carrying there.

I've heard about this old trick . . . if you leave home without your wallet/phone/gun, if you'll pull over and take your pants and underwear off and then put your pants back on without the underwear, you won't even notice you didn't bring your wallet/phone/gun.
I've never tried it my self.

I've been to the store a few times and got whatever I needed. Went to check out and no wallet.

If I forget what I'm daily carrying, which is rare, I just pull the Jeep gun out for the day. My phone is my link to my business. I turn around if I forget it, which is also rare, and I realize I forgot it pretty quickly . . .

Well it used to be I was lost without a watch. Now about the only time I wear one is on a shore excursion off a cruise ship. They will leave you!
My vehicles all have a clock and most anything you can plug in at your house has a clock.
Wallet if going off my own property its with me. My wallet contains among other things my NYS unrestricted carry permit and unless I'm going to a prohibited area/ event I have my carry piece with me,
Cell phone unless my wife is with me I have no cell phone. We live in a no cell area ad I do not have one. She carries one in her pocketbook. That is if she can find it, you go deep enough in her pocketbook and you might find what left of J. Hoffa.

I have my gun on me from the time I get dressed in the morning till I get ready for bed so I never forget it. I have my wallet with my car keys so I don't leave the house without it either.
My phone is on my computer desk all day and sometimes I forget to pick it up when leaving the house. That's not a big deal to me.

I was trained years ago to never leave home without my cell phone when carrying my guns, because if there is an incident
the one because the first one to call 911 after the incident is
the "victim". With open borders now, and an influx from
forty some-odd countries I am not likely to go anywhere unarmed. I expect this is the one reason our Governor did
the right thing and got Constitutional Carry here in Texas.
I have a solution to the problem of forgetting your cell phone
or gun or your speed loaders or your car keys, and a flashlight.
I keep my Vietnam veterans cap handy, and put the my gun
next to it and my car keys, phone, glasses, speed loaders,
bill fold, fit right in the cap. Most of us old men are ball headed and wear a cap of some kind, so this is a great way not to
forget your gear. It also helps keep you from locking yourself
out of the house with car keys attached to the same thing
your house keys are attached to. I also put my watch in the
cap too so I don't forget to put it on. When you get over 70
you need a crutch or two to keep you from forgetting something.

I was in New Jersey for 5 days two weeks ago (to visit kids and grandkids), no edc! I have now learned that " Having Clothes On" has no bearing on not being naked! No guns on my person, no back-ups in the car, and my Sherpa isn't carrying either!

Honestly, if I had to turn around to get my phone or gun, it would be way past time to move. Only problem with cell phones where we live is finding cell service along the road. As far as feeling safe, the only thing I would need my gun for is if a bear or moose attack was immanent along the way. We bought our house from previous owners who had lived there for 15 years and could not even find the keys to the door locks since they never locked them. Coming from lower Michigan, I bought new locks and still lock the house by habit whenever I leave.
Sad to think that way too many people have to live in areas of the country where they fear violence on a regular basis. Come on up to Big Snow Country - no people - no problems! Oh I forgot - no houses left for sale either.

First cell phone I had was a flip phone that I kept in a zip lock bag in the saddlebag of my bike. Never carried it.
When I moved to Florida I got a new one and carried it all the time. My ex stayed in Ohio till our house. Not knowing anyone here, I thought it was a good idea.
Now I wouldn't think of leaving home without my smart phone. There isn't much I can't do on it that I can do on my desktop PC. Their just too handy to have.
Never leave the house without my pistol, knife, wallet, and keys.

The piece is part of my getting dressed ritual. It goes into the holster soon after I pull on my pants. The phone? Different story. Can't tell you how many times I've waltzed out of here without it.

Before I go out the door I always do the Macarena.
Right hand up patting my shirt pocket, right arm down patting my right pocket, left hand patting left pocket, hands back to my butt patting rear pockets and then hands to my hips and done. Hey Macarena.

When I made the decision to carry, I made the decision to carry every time, every day, everywhere I go unless posted against it. I have a number of pistols, but have settled on one that is THE carry gun, (A customized BHP) so I am confident with it.
The cell phone has become a part of the EDC as I still vividly remember hunting for a pay phone to answer a pager notification.
I wear my watch 24/7 and will not try to break that habit. The diver's watch means you don't even have to take it off in the shower.
A pocket knife and flashlight round out the EDC complement and I frisk myself as I go out the door to ensure everything is in place.

I definitely, would! I am within arms reach of protection, at all times!
Furthermore, refuse to rely on unwanted, unsolicited, protection, that could be unwilling, slow, faulty, or not available when needed.
I've, successively, protected myself most of my life.

If I leave my house without a weapon it is because I am being carried out on a stretcher.
Wife knows to check my pockets before they carry me out if I can't.

Ha, that’s a good name!
I call it it “The Third Base Coach” because it looks like I’m signaling:

Spare keys

After being paid to carry for 30 years, it's a habit that's hard to break. Always have something on me, or in my vehicle.
Cell phones are a funny thing - I hate them, and talking on the phone, or texting. BUT - I remember all those times, before cell phones, breaking down and having to walk for miles, or knock on a stranger door to use the phone. Coming upon back road accidents, driving in an unfamiliar city and pulling over and thinking "where the hell am I?" So yea, the cell comes too.

I have to admit that I am one of those and really don't know which one makes me feel naked the most when I don't have it. I just feel really uncomfortable whenever I don't have either one. If I didn't have both I'd probably have a panic attack or something.

Wallet, phone, keys (two sets - one for work), knife, gun. If I'm just walking to the 7-11, it's gun, wallet, house keys.

For me.......
There is no carry up here, and my phone is just that, a phone, for me to call and use, but I usually grab these for going out.

Since I use Bluetooth on the radio in my truck, if I get in and the radio doesn’t work, I know I forgot my phone.
