Nice wheels!
My first pick-up was a 1966 Chevy C-10 Custom. It was a short wheelbase Fleetside, with a 283 V8 and a three-on-the-tree.
It was fancy in that it had chrome bumpers, a chrome trim piece by the doors, and three sliders for the heat/defrost instead of just a single knob.

I've had this one since 1972 when it was just six years old. I call her "Old Faithful" for her dependability now for over 350,000 wonderful miles! Lots of memories in the ol' gal . . .
I love Model A Fords . . . and learned to drive in one that dad had back in 1966. It is a 1930 Coupe. It is still in the family but being restored . . .
I bought this 1931 Roaster back in the late '60s but couldn't get it finished before I won the lottery . . . the DRAFT lottery that is in 1971. So, I later sold it to my brother. It was always in great shape, but he did a total inside and out, off the frame restoration. No costs spared. Today it is gorgeous . . .
In this photo the top is off, being redone . . .
I dream of having a 1930 or '31 Roadster Pickup that looks basically original (except for 16" Ford V8 wheels from the '30s with modern tires . . . and a Chevy V8 and modern running gear. It would be a fun car/truck to drive!

This is my 1952 Buick Special that I've had about 7 years. It's in pretty good shape, but it ain't no trailer queen. Manual steering and brakes along with bias ply tires make it a handful sometimes. At least it has an automatic trans.

1930 Model A Roadster Pickup. My father restored this about 15 years ago and I get to keep it and maintain it for him. LOTS of fun taking this thing out for a drive, but its a real adventure anytime you get it up over 45mph.

Very nice rides, all.
Here's a pic of the Chevelle I used to own. I bought it from the original owner (a little old lady, no kidding!) as a graduation present to myself in 1987. At the time, it had a little over 13,000 miles on it. I wasn't real crazy about the 4 door, but it was all original and was mint. I'd just got done washing and cleaning it up. It's not the best pic but the only one I can find right now.
Fast forward to about 8 years ago. My wife was pregnant with our first child and had almost miscarried twice. She got taken off work and, at the time, neither of us made much and we NEEDED both incomes. Since you can't live in a car, and we were behind on all the bills, I had to sell the Chevelle. When I got rid of it, it had a little over 32,000 miles on it. I miss it!

All I can say is WOW. My cousin owned that car in the 50's and I got to drive it quite often, all I can say is "What a Tank" meant in a good way.

Love it! My first car was a 1952 Super. Very similar to yours, only longer and heavier, but with the same engine/transmission. Parking was FUN.
The DynaFlow trannie was NOT known for rapid takeoffs.
Wish I had it back.

I am in the process of restoring my great uncles 1960 Willy's Jeep. I have it pretty much done mechanically, and will be taking care of some aesthetics this summer.
How do you like the number plate?
BTW, there are some fantastic restored vehicles on this thread. Great job to all.

I guess my old trucks would be classics..
I think they are old enough..
Still have a 68 bumpside, and a 74 dentside.
1968 F-250
300 six, T-18 four speed, Dana 60 rear 4:10
limited slip.
And I still have the 74 F-100, although I've
been trying to sell it.
240 six, three on the tree, 3:70 rear..
The 74 has maybe 120k or so on it, and the
engine is still original. Runs good, and no
smoke.
The 68 I installed a rebuilt long block 300
to replace the original that spun a bearing.
It's got maybe 20-25k on it on it now, and
I think I did the engine about 2002 or so..??
I've also totally rebuilt the front end
including the king pins, etc. Dumped the
original split rims, and put later year solid
rims on it. Almost everything on the 68 is
rebuilt except for the rear end, and the T-18
gear box. The utility bed on the 68 has been
on there almost since the truck was new. I think
the dealer installed it, or they had someone
else do it when the truck was new.
Both need new paint...

That TR 250 is restored frame up 100 % original. I did all the work. They made 84084 in 1968, mine was made in the last week of production. It is Valencia blue, the original color. That battery is a lucas tar top original replica. It took three years to find the stripped hoses. That alternator is orginal. It is a 4 speed with laycock-denormanville electrical overdrive.
I won best in show at the 1990 Vintage Triumph Register nationals held at Ft Mitchall, KY and best of show again at the Vintage Triumph Register nationals in 1991 held in Savanna, Ga.
