Dothan Update
Deb and I got registered...we prepaid...and set up.
I did a little bit of snooping while others were setting up but didn't notice a lot of treasures.
After 90 minutes we covered our table and started home.
There were not a lot of folks set up, but it looks like there is going to be a full house of vendors...in excess of 225. I didn't see a lot of empty spaces that are usually there.
I plan on getting there about 8AM tomorrow. That will give me time to peruse the wares of those who had not yet arrived.
Another Status report tomorrow evening.

RE: Dothan on Saturday
There were nine empty tables when we got there this AM. By 1PM there were 15. One vendor had completely sold out and packed up. I was glad to see the old guy do well. He could have probably gotten everything on just three tables, but like his elbow room.
The crowd was not the hoard that it could have been, but was pretty good until the Alabama-Georgia game started at 3PM. Between 3 and closing we could have counted the shoppers on one hand.
Wiregrassguy sold some little pieces and two pieces of hardware.
Debbie and I did about fifteen sales for a total of $260, and some of that was consignment. But on a positive note a lot of dust catchers are now in the possession of others and no longer gathering cob webs in my garage.
I do not expect much to happen tomorrow, but I have been surprised before.
The final wrap up will be tomorrow when we get home.
Only about 25 pre 1980 S&W wheel guns at the show, and most of them are 4" M-10s. The largest single group rests on our table, and the rest are scattered about the show. Some of the prices seem OK, a few seem high and the rest are off of the chart.

Dothan Finale on Sunday
Things never really got going for us. Crowd was sparse, sales even sparser (real word?)
We ended up with gross sales of $426. Spend $120 on our tables. The largest single sale was $100 for some 1911 grips.
It was not a total wash. I did manage to get my 4" blued M19-3 TTT. It cost me $900, but I sold the rug it came in for $3.00. It is actually a nice piece. I expected to find one that looked like it had ben dragged behind a Jeep up and down Pike's Peak several times. It was my 75th Birth Day (today) present to myself. I now have the 6", 4" and 2.5" that are all TTT.
Wiregrass Guy spent $30 on his half of one table and ended up needing a Brinks Truck to haul his loot away. In the end he flipped five pieces, mostly S&Ws and a few trinkets. I am glad that he did well.
One gal in the back brought her pet Piglet that serenaded us with squealing several times. Then there were the multitude of Fur Babies and toddlers in attendance. And they all looked like the were enjoying the show.
The next scheduled outing is March.
No S&W or Colt grips to be had, no parts to be had and very little of any interest being shown.
And that folks is how the weekend in Dothan went.
20 days until Ho-Ho-Ho and 27 days until 2022.

Happy birthday and I hope you can take your gains from the show to the local gun to buy a birthday present for yourself.

You and Wiregrass Guy certainly had the best toys on the playground! It was great to see y'all again and Happy Birthday Thom.
