White wild turkey
At least I think it's a wild one. A friend sent me this picture she took. There are three ways or types of genetic happenings that can cause this - I don't think this is an albino, so one of the other ways for this bird.

Smoky Gray (phase) turkey I'm guessing. I have quite a few around here mixed in with all the others.
Kind of hard to see through the brush but there's a few in this flock you might be able to pick out. I just took this pic a couple of days ago across the road from my house.

I never shoot a "Albino" white anything ....... just so it can pass on the genes.
I passed on a all black and a all white deer in my outings and a few ducks and geese (non-snows) that I hav seen.
However I don't know about a skunk !!

I have spent far more time chasing white rabbits than white turkeys.

About 20 years ago, a buddy and I were at the gym working out, when we starting talking about playing golf the next day. Another member overheard us, explained he was new to the area from Philly, and asked if he might join us. We explained that we were duffers, and if he was any good, he might not want to play with us. It ended up he was much worse than us.
The course we were playing was a beautiful mountain course. A particularly short par 3 has an elevated tee box and a fantastic view. As we walked up to the tee box, I noticed about 6 turkeys, a gobbler and the rest hens, on the green. Our new "buddy" looked at the birds and said "What are those buzzards doing down there?". My golf partner and I told him that they were turkeys, not buzzards. He said "Quit messing with me, I KNOW turkeys are white!" About that time the gobbler started strutting. My golf partner and I just smiled in silence.

There might be a genetic advantage for white wild turkeys when there’s snow on the ground, but they’ll stick out like a sore thumb the rest of the time.

Sprinkle with a little nutmeg and a touch of vanilla extract and what you have is a Milk Punch-a quintesessential morning/day drink around Mardi Gras along with the Bloddy Mary. Over the years I have drank more than my fair share of both. The women can have their Mimosas-but if you're gonna day drink just as soon do it right. Nothing will cure a hangover faster htan a good whisky or vodka infused cocktail-or for that matter a good slug of whatever you got in yer morning coffee.
