Japanese beetle grubs
What works on these pests? I’ve been using sevin spray (hose attachment) with success on the plants and I’ve sprayed the lawn a few times, but the dead and dying areas of grass are growing

Have enjoyed excellent results with milky spore treatment. Now until fall is the time to do it. It is ingested by the grubs, so keep the treatment going for best results. Picked it up from my master gardener neighbor who volunteers much time at the botanic gardens.

I used milky spore 20 years ago and haven’t had a problem since. I was told the grubs die and the milky spores go back into the soil.

Years ago I caught them by the pound. Practically non existent here.
Don’t put it on the porch or deck, that draws em in, not what you want.
Hang ‘em 50ft away from the house in some tree limbs. They check in but don’t check out.
