I have never seen this, but it is supposed to be the last guy on earth after it is taken over by....you guessed it, Zombies! Has anyone here seen it?
I guess I will watch it even if it is terrible.
It can't be worse than the 2 hrs. I spent getting the lead out of the barrel of my SRH today! Seriously. I have never encountered leading that stubborn!

Make sure you have the right gun(s) out if you're watching a zombie movie. Don't shoot the TV!

I'm getting ready to watch too. If it's the usual stuff from SCI-FI's original movies I ain't expecting much.

Is it "Omega Man" or "I Am Legend"? Both are pretty watchable.

Neither. I am Omega is the title.
So far it seems just another run of the mill supersoldier movie.

Hmmmmm..... Never heard of it, but IMDB has.
Lots of zombies in the cast, so it must be worthwhile.

Agreed. Not impressed thus far. There needs to be a lot more zombies (not just one or two at a time) and a lot more gun fire. At least they are fast. The fast ones are a lot harder to deal with. Not as hard as that first inch of barrel past the forcing cone of that SRH today. I'm telling you, it was the lead build up from hell!!! *^%#(^#(%^&$&*!!!
Commercial is over....back to your regularly scheduled zombies.

The original "Night of the Living Dead" was filmed with something like a couple of thousand dollar budget. The producers were the directors, and used family members and friends as zombies. When the were killed off, they were made up to look like a different zombie and thrown back in the flick. It became a cult classic that all other zombie movies came from.
This one seems to be based on the same book that the Will Smith movie "I am Legend" was based on. Now there is a gal who needs help getting to the mountains where there are supposedly thousands of uninfected people..
Did I mention that it was a real PITA to get that Redhawk cleaned today!

Joni, Yes, yes they do. They work for brains.
And, yes, WG'er, you may have mentioned that.

The girl contacts him by internet. Wonder who's keeping the power on and maintaining the servers?

The internet was meant to surviver a nuclear war, so it could probably survive zombies.
I'm watching it. It is okay. Not great. Mark Dacascos (sp?) is somewhat talented, despite showing up consistently in grade D movies. He was at his best in "Brotherhood of the Wolf".

It's over. Thank goodness! That was pretty bad! Not as bad as....well you know.
Anyway, "The house of the Dead" is now on. Supposedly an island full of Zombies. I hope this one is better, but i'm not counting on it.

It's actually worse, saved only partially by Jurgen Prochnow (sp?) of Das Boot fame being the captain of the boat and his enthusiastic embrace (in the film) of the right to bear arms (you'll see...).
Stay up for the last of tonight's zombies films, the one after "Rave to The Crave". That's actually the best of the lot. But it is a pretty bad lot.

WG840,
If you can, find a copy of Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things. A really great zombie movie. A real hoot. I don't know if it's available. It's been years since I last saw it.

GatorFarmer, you are absolutely correct. I haven't seen acting this bad since I can't remember when. Even the zombie make-up looks like a high school production. The good thing about these movies is how bad they are. The robots on "Mystery Science Theater" would have a field day with this one!
