How was the BAR?
Is it heavy enough to control?
What positions did you fire it from?
I have always wondered about that one.

Friend fire a 42 awhile back.Said you could
dig ditches with the rate of fire.Scary fun.

I was there today. Five magazines through a 1928 Thompson and two mags through a BAR. I found the Thompson very easy to shoot, managing quite of few two to four round bursts.
The BAR was amazing. First mag was standing with the gun on my shoulder. Two or three shot bursts were easy and pretty easy to keep on a man sized target.
The second clip was from the hip. Managed to hit a large wood stump about 40 yds away quite easily.
I have always wanted to fire these two weapons and it really was fun. The BAR is a very impressive piece of firepower!
