I believe you are correct, sir, but I haven't followed things as closely as some others here. There are a few threads further down the list here in the Lounge which speak about a grand opening of their new facility in Tennessee. Take a look at those and your question may be answered definitively.

It's hard to get my mind around the fact that S&W moved away from it's ancestral home in Mass. 
Why continue to employ people and pay taxes to a state that makes it as difficult as possible for its citizens to own the product you manufacture.

It's tough for a gun manufacturer to do business, get employees, and flourish in a State that absolutely hates guns (which MA does). They will regulate you right out of business. S&W finally saw the light and hit the road. I just HOPE they also get better employees, get some with better work ethics and QC. It would be a welcomed change!

S&W will keep the MA facility and all revolvers will be built there.
IMHO they should move that too, quality might improve, just sayin'...

Been to Franklin several times. My wife and I take our Mini Cooper over there and straightening out the curves. We’ve got some pretty good curves around our house as well but a little change of scenery is nice. I used to take my son when he was young over to Franklin to dig for rubies and gems.
