Dear members

I recieved today a nice book, that I "won" at an internet-auction for US$ 16.- shipping inclusive. This book is not available any more since a long time and it looks, like it's something that many collector is looking for. It's in great shape and got over 380 pages of information. The book is a first-print from 1989. It's a complete translation of the book from Mr. Jinks and Mr. Neal from 1966 / with new material from 1975. The 90 x-ray-pictures of different S&W models are a very nice gadget too.

Swissman, when you are here in the US, will you buy some lottery tickets for me?

I wouldn't be able to read your "Feuerwaffen" book, so I'll have to look for one about firearms.

I have one of those! (It's even autographed by Bob Neal, but that's a whole 'nother story.}
I bought it back around 1989 because I couldn't find an original at a price I was willing to pay.
(Originals were going for around $200-300 at the time. I just wanted it for reference and figured I could probably use a German to English translator program I had on my computer if I needed any detail from the text.
Did you know there are a lot of German words that seem to be unique to firearms? (The program didn't have them in it's lexicon.)

There are now reprints of the originals available. (in English even!)
