... I'm ready to play... today!

Here are some pictures from our boys first ever T-Ball practice. He just turned three and I guess he's technically too young to play. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to try so we went to the coach and asked him to consider taking him early. The coach said that he would take him... so...

Batter Up!

Its a Hit!

On First Base!

On Third Base (after accidentally stealing second)

Headed for Home Plate... He's SAFE!

LOL... yeah... he was standing just like that and then he heard someone yell run (don't know who or why) and he stole second base by accident.

Cute!
The third base coach needs to stay off the field during play though.

LOL... it was practice. They were teaching them what they should do in different situations. I had to run out there at the beginning to show my boy that he needed to touch the bases with his feet, not try to pick them up.

Now, I know the position halfway between second base and third base is called "Shortstop", but what are the two positions between first and second called?

T ball is great! If you need a pick-me-up just stop and watch a bunch of kids playing.

I think that is the center and right fielders playing deep in case someone hits a long ball.

That is great to see. The grand daughter, who is six, is playing T-Ball, and I get the biggest kick out of watching all those little people having a blast!

Thanks for sharing the pics!
