Hey this IS pretty fun. I trapped him my first try with 15 clicks.
Wait... 7 clicks.

Got him on the first try. Trick is don't try to trap him up close. Out flank him then close it in.

Hmm! He's being a bugger now though! I'm not getting good dark circles to begin with.

That's why the Lord gave you a reset button. It still took me a few trys, but I got him . . .

Shoot him and skin him. You know what they say, "There's more than one way to skin a cat".

And did you notice after each entrapment, you get fewer dark green dots to work with at the start?
Nice, Kitty.

Sir, I did indeed notice that. Starting with only one dark green dot is tough. I must say, though, that as infuriating as this game is, it's a pretty fair approximation of trying to catch a cat who doesn't want to be caught. What's next, a "give the cat a pill" game?

I found a certain technique that seems to work pretty well.
Set up green dots at every other position, and start building this "light" fence far away from the cat so it will not have time to approach the fence and force you to start building a solid fence to soon. When the cat finally approaches your "every second dot" fence it is very easy for you to close the gaps as the cat approaches. You can then control the movements of the cat instead of the cat forcing your moves.
