Mail Call semi marathon on History Channel today also new show tonight!
Just a heads up. Ole' Gunny Ermy will be on the History Channel all morning and most of the afternoon today. For fans of the "Gunny".
Gunny's new show "Lock N' Load" premiers tonight on the History Channel, 9pm Eastern, 8pm Central.

Yep, I'm watching it now.........good to see the Gunny back on the air.
I'm home all day with a minor ailment and it's good to have something interesting to watch on the tube for a change.

According to my TIVO guide there two consecutive shows at 8:00 & 9:00 pm (central).
The first on machine guns and the second on artillery.

I watched the artillery show a couple of nights ago. Pretty good show. At one point they were shooting an old cannon somewhere in Colorado. It was cold and snowing. Gunny says '"It's so cold even the squirrels can't keep their nuts warm". My wife just gives me the look when I bust out laughing!!

I thought THAT sbow was the premier of Lock & Load 
And BTW I also chuckled at the thing about the squirrels too.

Yeah, my wife had about the same reaction! I just tell her it's a guy show and she heads to the computer after some comments about "How can you watch that!"

I know that look.
It usually comes right before I ask her if she's OK and she says FINE! Followed by 2-3 hours of pregnant silence.

There were a lot of middling factual errors and misstatements during the machinegun show, but it was nice to see an actual Chauchat [attempting] to be fired.

Yea but how 'bout that Dillon Gattling gun and the Browning M2
