Default Smith You Most Recently Fired?

Mine was my M649-2 in .38 Special.
I have been practicing with it every time I've been to the range lately.
Ammo was my 158 grain reloads made with with Unique.
I shot from three yards back to 25 yards and practiced reloading from Tuff Products Quick Strips.

Last rifle I shot was a Remington 40X in .22 Long Rifle. It's got a 8-32 power scope.
I'm getting back into .22 benchrest and discovering I haven't forgotten everything I learned two years ago.

This morning I shot my new to me m34 and then my M25-5. Yesterday I fired my Savage 99 and my M19s in the morning and then the Win 95, Schofield copy, M24 and K22. Day before that i shot my M30, one of the 1911s and a 96 broom handle. It is a pain in the neck to collect all that brass off the deck but better than shooting out of the living room window

I fired Bob Smith last Friday. He was a real screw-up. Late all the time and wasn't producing for the company.

Sorry, sip...beat ya to it...somebody had to do it.

642 - daily carry. Sometimes I forget how much fun my protection tool can be! I enjoyed it greatly and have now marked the calender to remind myself to shoot it monthly.

Have the day off today so planning on getting the kids out w/ rimfire and 9mm target practice = Kimber , S&W and Ruger.

I put several heavy-bullet .44 cowboy loads down the short tube of my home-modified 296 a few days ago. The gun now sports a non-original steel cylinder and a Big Dot sight. It's a little less painful to shoot with the heavier cylinder and softer loads than it was in the factory configuration. It may actually weigh as much as a pound and a half when loaded.

Don't know if everybody would agree that a modern Walther counts as a Smith, but I ran several magazines through my PPK/S on the same range trip. It didn't jam, or go off accidentally, or otherwise annoy me, all of which I took as a good omen.

The day before yesterday, I fired my pre-34. I also fired my K-22 (1958, probably, but not a 17) and my C*** Diamondback.

Well, if you count Walthers....my Ruger Mark II had a problem with Remington Gold Bullets yesterday so I ran 2 boxes through my P 22 as an ammo check. Lots of fun. I also fired my new 642 for the first time. More fun than I thought but the slide latch got my thumb a bit after 30 or so rounds.

Burned up some old ammo from various manufacturers in my 3913. HydraShoks, FMJ, JHP; it ate them all without a hitch.

My newly arrived 657 PC gun. A Lt Wt Hunter, 6" slab sided bbl, ported with a 2# SA trigger pull. Shot some 210 SWC's over 7.5 of Unique. Same loads I carry in my M-58.

Shot very well at 25 yds.

My P22 loves those Golden Bullets but will not eat anything that says Federal. I even did the complete "Bible" fluff and Buff. I shot that yesterday also.

This past Saturday I shot one of my model 29-2's 4 inch. Loads were 7.5 grains of Unique and a 250 grain Keith bullet.
I am taking the same gun with me this weekend to qualify for concealed carry.

My 29-2, put forty rounds through it yesterday. A mix of my 250 grain Lyman #429421 cast bullets followed up by 200 grain Speer JHP's behind 11.0 grains of Unique. Just a big old pussycat and a real joy to put through its paces.

17-3. Got this beater from a former member. NIB except, not new scratched all over. And no box or goodies. And wrong grips. Some folks have "eccentric" interpretations of NIB. I like it anyway, even with the $5 CDNN grips. Gets more play than any other gun except for the Ruger MK II. Joe

Model 19-4 2.5" Bbl. 5:45 this morning. I caught an intruder doing a home invasion this AM. One shot to the head at about five feet and he was out of the game, permanently. After the shooting I stuffed the body into the trash can to get rid of the evidence.

By the way "He" was one of the squirrels that have decided to chew through the siding of my house to build a nest in the attic. My ammo of choice was a CCI 38 Spcl Shot Shell.

This morning @ 5:00 AM...S&W500 using Hornady 300 grain SST's. 400# black bear on the lakeside deck stairs 30' away. Blew one off 10' over its head. I think the critter's ears are still ringing...not mine, I was wearing my electronic muffs!

My 696 spelled doom for a 2 1/2' copperhead I stepped over. (After I ran around screaming like a little girl for 2 min.) Love those CCI shotshells.

I took my 4596 to the range this week, don't shoot it much, but got a red dot scope for my 22-A I needed to sight in and it felt like a S&W day.
Both shot well.

About 100 practice rounds of 158 Gr SWC through an early 4 digit Chief's Special. For a long gun about 100 rounds through my Russian SKS.

Made a range trip today to chronograph some .357 loads. I ran three different loads through a 2 1/2" model 66-1, a 4" 686, a 4" Python, a 6" 19-3, and a 5" 627-5. The 13.5 grain 2400 load with a 158 grain SWC shot just fine in all guns, but I was a little disappointed with the extreme spread of my light loads of 231 and the same 158 grain SWC. Need to investigate this as it has always been a good load accuracy-wise.

Sunday I went with some friends to their gun club. I heated up my 10-5 and my 638-3. They were using their 640s. Our carbon footprint is much larger as a result and the world is a better place.

Probably my 4'' M29-3 a few days ago. 12 rounds of 21 grains of 2400 under a 255 Keith- Basically there is nowhere to shoot around here so I go out in the national forest to a big bar pit and shoot 12 rounds at a 1'x1' rock we set out at about 200 yards and GTFO before the FWC shows up. Using my car roof as a rest I went 5/5 on the first cylinder on the big rock and made some other shots at other targets at various distances. I'm finding frequent practice of 8-12 shots a session does way more for me than 50 rounds in one session on the weekend.
