Default Plants and fakes at town hall meetings

I usually don't spend time on World Net Daily due to their sometimes 'over the top' articles, rumors and assumptions. However, they did a good job today of netting out the top instances of "Administration" plants in town hall meetings. (see link below)

I've been following the incident of the "little girl" asking about the "mean protesters" in Obama's NH meeting... and especially the 'fake doctor' who attended Sheila Jackson Lee's meeting in Houston.

It's been frustrating that the media has spent all their time on Sheila's rude use of the phone when being questioned. The real story is that she introduced a student of her husbands university as a four year practicing doctor. This fake doctor then spoke passionately on the need for ObamaCare and was the 'star' of the town hall story in the Houston Chronicle... evidencing support for the plan.

The imposter was even accompanied to the meeting by a well known Obama operative. Now that she's been busted, Sheila has denied that she knew the fake doctor... which is quite laughable if you watch the video of Sheila introducing her.

Youtube of Sheila and fake doctor

This morning, the story is finally hitting the media. The Houston Chronicle is correcting the "doctor's" support story. FoxNews Houston is reporting it. The Heritage Foundation does a great job covering, and I hope that Rush will mention it today since he quotes a lot from them.

WND on this and several other Obama plants

Townhall Downfall: Astroturf Doctors

You may have seen yesterday’s video of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) speaking on her cell phone while a cancer survivor spoke to her about health care reform. Well now comes news that the pro-Obamacare voices in the crowd were not entirely legitimate. A primary care physician identified as Dr. Roxana Meyer stood up and praised the President’s health care plan for overhauling a broken system. Meyer said: “I don’t know what there is in the bill that creates such panic.” The Congresswoman asked the crowd to give her a round of applause for being a doctor, hugged her and then asked “How long have you been practicing?” to which “Dr.” Meyer answered “Four years,” which was followed by more applause and a gushing grin on the face of “Dr.” Meyer. The problem? Roxana Meyer is not a doctor, but rather an Obama campaign delegate.

In fact, Roxana Meyer was sitting in the audience with a friend who also worked for the Obama campaign and was famously photographed hanging a Che Guevara revolutionary flag above her official Obama campaign office desk. The Houston Chronicle, which reported on the townhall and highlighted the exchange, knew that Ms. Meyer was an Obama delegate but was unaware she was not a doctor. The Chronicle did not report her campaign background, but has since updated their website to reflect she is not a physician. In responding to inquiries, Roxana Meyer says she possessed “spontaneity” in her deception and she thought it would “help her credibility.” Yes, she gave all Obamacare supporters loads of credibility today. We hope that the President’s chorus will denounce her actions as loudly as they have protested regular parents, citizens, students who have driven themselves to their representative’s townhalls to ask serious questions about the “reform” of one sixth of the U.S. economy.
Here's the Obama operative who brought the poser to the meeting... sitting in Sheila's front row of honor. And the next picture is of her wearing the same outfit in a photo with Obama. (This is the "Che Guevara" campaign manager mentioned above.)

Very informative....great post!

Maybe the lies are slowly starting to all unravel?

It will be interesting to see if ABC, NBC, etc reports this. Could you imagine the coverage if the Right had been caught in such a deception??

This health care thing is bad enough, but it is just amazing to me that the administration thinks they can get away with this type of behavior and not be found out in our 24/7 all angles media world these days.

Are they really that dumb? Do they calculate the potential damage quotient and make a go/no-go decision based on the risk of being caught? Are Obama's top people just that incompetent? They are playing in the big leagues now but many of their decisions and actions are at the high school skill level it seams.

Or do they just not care and their strategy is to throw everything they can at the wall and be temporarily satisfied with whatever sticks. This while on their march towards gaining full control of this country via incremental steps towards their fascism/socialism nirvana. Kind of like killing frogs by gradually turning up the heat.

It's always worked for them in Chicago.

BTW, I understand that there are ads on Craig's List for hired guns to attend town halls and collect signatures for ObamaCare... $14 to $16 per hour or $600+ per week. It would not be surprising if tax dollars were funding this fraud (not proven... yet).

The leftists are absolutely terrified because nothing they've tried is working. Support for the health care plan is falling constantly as more people find out what's in it.
Next up is million dollar campaigns paid for by unions and drug companies (yes, them) and targeted campaigns against certain (democratic) lawmakers. Also look for union thugs to masquerade as conservatives.

I don't see what is so unusual about it. Bush staff hand picked his audiences all the time, and before him so did Willie's. But it does show nicely just how staged and false American politics has become.
Remember, they ALL hire image consultants, wardrobe consultants, hair stylists, & people to write their speeches for them. The questions at these rallies are usually known long before they are staged/asked on camera. If any of you are looking for a honest politician, well, it ain't gonna happen.

There is a big difference in speaking to a crowd of advocates versus planting operatives that are lying. Bush never denigrated any protesters by calling them extremists. He always spoke to their protest as an American right.

Average folks are fed up and they haven't figured it out...yet.

Here's a good post on AR15.com about the young girl planted in the Portsmouth NH town meeting.
