Default Storing grips

I want to store the original magna grips after buying a set of Diamond Targets. Do I need to do anything special or just be sure that they can't bang together?

Whenever I get a new set of grips they come with a spacer of wood roughly the width of the grip frame snugged up between them. I store mine in small heavy zip-lock bags I save from purchases. They are slightly larger than the grips. From there they go into the safe.

As long as the grips (S&W Factory) stay dry they should not warp no matter how long they are stored. If they are magnas nothing special other than protecting them from dings. If targets I pit a spacer between them and "snug" the screw before putting them in a baggie.
I have had some grips in my gun show totes that have been there 5 years or more and have been stored in the house and in the garage, without any ill effects.
