Last week I complained about Gander Mountain, so this week i went on the net and found 2 nickel Model 10's one a 10-5 2 inch and a 10-8 3 inch nickel. The 3 inch is an California Corrections anniversary gun and the 10-5 is a plain 2inch gun both are cool I am waiting to pick them up at Shooters.
Then while I was there a Dave aretired state patrol officer asked if I wanted to buy a model 64 marked Baltimore Police I will see that one Tuesday, and will probably get it.
Today i went to Cabela's with my daughters and what a nut house I didn't realize they had a sale this weekend saw a few Smiths inthe gun counter then went inot the gun library and saw a highway patrolman and a 2 inch Victory. I looked at both the highway patrolman didn't have any sights so i thought it might be a 520, but it had a pre war frame and ordnance marks.
Upon close examination it looked like someon had the frame and then added a 357 cylinder and a highway patrolman barrel, the pin from the barrel was missing, so i passed on that one.
The 2 inch victory was actually a 2 inch M&P from the 50's with the original box so i bought that one and will drive back up on Thursday and pick it up.
As soon as I get them I will post pics in the right catagory.
