Question Pawn Shop Prize

Hi:
Located a Pawn Shop in another County that does FFL transfers for $25.00
which is reasonable in this part of the world.
While waiting for the FFL Dealer to complete paperwork checked out the handgun display case. Observed a Webley Mk. 2 .38 caliber. Weapon had zero finish and no grips. The overall appearence was "Poor". Price tag was
$399.99.
I know better but I am constantly amazed of Pawn Shop prices.
Jimmy

I have a buddy that picked up a Kimber CDP from a pawn shop for $500 in perfect condition, trijicon sights and 5 mags.

Either a boom or a bust for deals in pawn shops.

Your only hope is to catch them when they "aren't looking."

A friend of mine, dang his hide, scored a Winchester Model 12 Trap Gun for less than $500 at a local pawnshop a couple of weeks ago.

We have about a half-dozen decent pawn shops in my area. I visit them regularly, and score a deal very rarely. Darn internet. These guys are all wiser than they once were.

In my area, most of the time pawn shop prices are no bargain.

Occasionally a bargain shows up. But it is usually like fishing reports - "you should have been her last week ..."
