S&W 3913 picture request
I am considering sending my 3913NL to S&W to get the frame done in black. I seen a two tone 3913 picture online a few years back on some site, but can not find it now. If you own or have a picture of a 3913 with a black frame and stainless slide could you please post it?
Thank you.

Here's one you might want to look at. This is a friend of mine's 3913. It's been re-finished many times:

I'm thinking of redoing my 6906 frame with Duracoat but I am concerned about the durability of the finish.

Todd, at http://www.customizedcreationz.com/ refinished and polished my 3913 and it's holding up very well. His speciality services are the SigSauer line, but from his site you can see he does others. An email to him is free. IIRC, he responds quicker to phone calls. Any questions drop me a PM.

It isn't a 3913, but a first cousin, the 4040PD. Its frame is very similar to the 3913 and its black.

FirebirdV8, thanks for the pic of the 4040PD, nice gun. I was looking for a two tone 3913 (see tinygnats reply).

Mine is a 3914, and it is as great a concealment 9mm as they come. Mine is getting a little worn but it still competes successfully against most comers in matchs. The smallere Sith autos seem to be as accurate or better than the larger models.

That's odd. Todd actually has a good reputation on other forums. And those AK Files threads are from 2-3 years ago. Todd seems to have cleaned up his act since then.
Floatch, why are you dredging up all these old threads here (some of which date back over a year) in order to repeatedly spam the same message? Have you personally had a bad experience with Todd lately?

This is not a 3913, but a 469 that the frame has been stripped and the frame checkered. The "hook" from the trigger guard has been removed and the front of the guard checkered. It fits in in a 3913 or shorty 40 holster.
