Default Model 1917 on GunBroker - need some quick advice

Hi - on GB is what appears to be a pretty good Model 1917 except for entirely wrong grips.

Help please - How hard is it to find proper (N Frame) plain walnut grips?
What might they cost? Cost of grips would greatly influence what I might be willing to bid on this otherwise nice gun.

Bidding ends this evening so there is not a whole lot of time.

Thanks

Steve

If you would be satisfied with repos, GunParts lists a decent set for $37.25 (plus shipping, I'm sure). Click the link below:

If you only want originals, I suspect the price starts high and goes higher depending on condition. I don't know the market, but I would guess $100 - $200. Less if you are willing to accept some condition issues, more if you demand perfection.

(Remember, you said you wanted answers quick, you didn't say good! )

I would not let the grips be an issue. If the price is right, go for it and get the grips later.

They are not difficult to make.
