Default A Box Question...

I just bought a CZ-38, and the seller shipped it to me in a S&W blue, hinged box. The dimensions are 9½ x 6¼ x 1½. The inside of the lid has a picture of the S&W factory with a logo above it. The logo says "Office of" above "Smith & Wesson" above "Revolver Manufacturers". There is a small top break with a spur trigger in the line between "Smith &" and "Wesson".

I know next to nothing about Smith and Wesson boxes, so I was hoping that one of the more knowledgeable folks here could tell me something about it, such as how old it is. It seems to be fairly old.

TIA,

Buck

If it is a one piece hinged box it's really not that old.
A picture would help. Don

The more I look at it, and with a little study of SCSW 3, I'm beginning to think it's a construct. The quality of the inside lid image, and the fit of the inside felt bottom, lead me to believe that somebody else made this, and that it wasn't made by S&W at all.
