Default 13-2 nickel 4-inch NIB for $450?

I wasn't in the market for this gun, but it seems like an awfully good deal. The gun looks like it has been fired only at the factory and includes all the paperwork. The box looks brand new. I have it on hold until tomorrow. What do the assembled gurus think?

Hi, I think the price is fair, in the middle of my scale from "buy it now and run like crazy" to "insanely overpriced". Interested to hear from others. Photos if you buy it, please?

Older Model 13's are pricey; a 13-2 should be P&R, which adds value. You also have a nickeled gun and the box, all in NIB condition, so $450 sounds like a great price. I would buy definitely buy it.

M13s are great shooters. Here's my wife's 13-1, with Ahrends maple grips:

If it were me I would mull it over for a couple of days and then go back and find it no longer there.......
Offer them 400 and see what happens.
Can you live without it?
How bad would you kick yourself for not getting it at 450.

Yes, it's pinned and recessed. I've only got two other such older guns, a blued 19-3 4-inch and a nickel 19-3 2-inch.

I don't find many model 13s in California. When I do they are in the $600.00 range with a box. So I say buy it!

Good luck,

Default it's now on layaway!

Went back this morning and it was still there. It's now on layaway -- I'll probably make the second and last payment sometime next month. Having agonized for so long (three days seemed like a long time!), I can't wait to shoot it (and reduce its value a bit, I assume.) Thanks to all my enablers who encouraged me to get just one more gun!
