It's hard to believe that the 'normal' sight companies like Hi-viz, Tru GLo etc. don't realize the Sigmas are the best selling S&Ws these days.
There are some night site folks that make sight upgrades. Sorry, I didn't want them so I forget who exactly.
But my old eyes needed something as well. I got a laser. Works good at close range in bright light if needed. Works great in the house in the dark. I'll attach a couple of pics. As you can see it blends well with the gun. Oh forgot to mention its a 40VE. The price was about $70

OOps didn't see you already bought something to hang from it. Oh well consider this an alternative

I'm also interested in some new sights for my sigma. What all is involved in replacing the sights?

Unfortunately, the only options are the tritium night sights, which are no better than stock in daylight.

It would be great if Tru Glo or somebody made a Sigma set of fiber optic sights-----but they don't.

Now for the M&P series, there are lots of choices including Tru Glo and Novak.

The TFO sights are awesome. I have them on Two XD's. Maybe it will come.. I mean Crimson trace has a sigma model due out soon so maybe others will follow

Can't help but wonder why tru-glo and hi-viz haven't come out with something for the sigma. The guns been around forever. It would make things a whole lot more efficient. Like I said, night sites don't do anything for my old eyes. Wish they'd wake up.

Tony,
Nobody else is doing it for the most popular selling S&W auto. What do you think. Of course there's an untapped marked out there. I like the laser, but as anyone knows bright light lessens it's effectiveness. At 20 to 50yds in the daytime a complimentary fiber sight would be dynamite. Let me know when you start making them.

The TDR-911 is probably the best sigma laser out there. It fits w/o a bulky adapter on the rail. You can find them on ebay or at
Auto-Laser Handgun Laser Sighting System
We sure could use more add ons for our trusty little sw40/9ve!

I wrote to TruGLo to see about the TFO and they said they are considering adding it. So I am thinking its a no go.

Unlike some others on the forum I didn't buy the gun because it was cheap. That was just a bonus. I bought it because when I wrapped my hand around the grip and pointed .. I thought I have gone to heaven. A friend has one ... his is well worn in .. and I felt happier about the trigger being a somewhat revolver like pull. I had an XD subcompact I had don't a trigger job on and then I became afraid to carry it it was so light.

So I bought the Sigma because I liked it! The trigger mech is just about the same as the Glock which has proven very reliable and the whole gun can be taken apart with ease by a novice.

So yea .. I am bummed that there aren't more sights or goodies available and I would jump on fiber optics.

At a decent price?
None that I've seen.
How can you justify sights that cost 1/3 the cost of the original pistol?
