Diamond Target Grips for # S 130285
I have a set of N frame, walnut, NON-relieved Diamond Target grips with the number 130285 in them.
I suspect they are for a very early 1955 Target .45.
If you have this gun and want to remarry them, let me know.

Thread just for this
I was thinking and maybe this idea is already been discuused or developed, but there should be a thread just for this reason. I like to dabble in buying and selling grips to help support my addiction with S & W, but I would much prefer selling these grips to the owners of the matching guns. I know not every grip has a number but many do and I am tempted to post from time to time what I have acquired before selling them off, but figured that could jam up the thread becuase I seem to come across quite a few. Anyway, does anybody have any support for this or does it already exist in the classifieds.

Could possibly a database be set up to "re-unite" the stocks with their proper firearm?

I think that would be a great thing to get started.

We already tried it once long ago.... as far as I know there was never a successful reunion. At least there new was among the 30-40 pairs of stocks I personally listed.
Cool Idea though.... maybe a floating sticky?

Nice Try Dick....
However K117 and it's correct pair of stocks still reside here by the Big Lake....
Rest assured prior to that ever changing you'll be the first to say "OMG are you asking that much?"

So, anybody want to give her another try. I am all for making this a sticky. What do we do? Take a vote or something?

I'll talk to the IT Guy about a possible database. Be patient, and wait for us to look into it. If we do it, we'll do it right.
Right now, a higher priority is moving the SWCA database.

No, we don't take a vote.
This is not a democracy, it's a benevolent dictatorship.
