Default Question About 3" M629 BackPacker

My Buddys Uncle had this like new M629 with unfluted cylinder & magna porting, It was pre lock & also had bear on the sideplate & bearprints on the cylinder & backpacker on it.
He wanted $700, he was trying to sell it for a Widow..

That's probably a decent price for both buyer and seller (especially since she's a widow). I would pass myself, due to the bear and paws etched into it look ridiculous in my opinion. That and the fact that it has MIM (cast) hammer and trigger.

I was trying to help Uncle Ray Out!!
I know that He's been carrying that thing at every gunshow lately trying to sell it for her..
I wondered if maybe posting it here in the classifieds would be a good idea for him/her..
I myself ain't in the finacial shape to purchase the revolver..
Thanks!!
Gary/Hk
