need insert
have s&w model 19 2 1/2 " revolver. lost the red plastic insert on front sight. need one. would like to buy several if possable for spairs. thanks gotzguns

You arent gonna find the factory inserts - they are pressed in from a piece of plastic. There are some kits out there that involve mixing a powder and solvent, put it in the notch and file off when it hardens. I have also see some guys make inserts from a plastic toothbrush handle.

YOU WILL HAVE STEP BT STEP INSTUCTIONS.
THE GUY USES EPOXY,AND FINGERNAIL POLISH,MIXEDUP AND MAKES A SIGHT THE SAME AS FACTORY
,TAKE A BEFORE AND AFTR PICTURE FOR US GUYS TO SEE HOW IT WORKS.
MAKE SURE TO TAPE OFF ANY AREA AROUND THE NOTCH YOU DONT WANT EPOXY ON
