Need to hear from the ladies who carry.
My wife for years has carried her K9 in her purse. I for years have said this method is only a little better than carrying nothing at all. She began to complain of the weight of her purse while lugging an all steel 9mm in it. I purchased a Ruger LCR for her for Christmas and she just loves it so far. That being said she has also come to realize that holster carry is the way to go.
I need to hear from you ladies that carry on a daily basis. What type of holster do you use? OWB, IWB etc. What about wardrobe? I just need to point my wife in the right direction so she can choose a system that will be comfortable and functional. She will do the choosing.
She has an office job so her wardrobe needs to be appropriate for that. Help me out.
This is her new heater:

Since she's been carrying you may have been to these two sites before, but if not.
This is the women's section ==>
Womens Concealed Carry
And then there's ==>
Cornered Cat - Table of Contents
I'm pretty sure I've seen this subject before, did you find anything searching the forum?

Thanks for the links, I had the cornered cat and sent it to her computer so she could look at it. I will send the other as well. As far as searching the topic, no I did not. Sorry should have done that first.

Women on the forum are cool!
All I can do is invite her to join us. Autoloaders in deep, IWB type concealment might work well for her. Carrying the gun in he same place all the time is super-important IMO, and harder for women to do.

Belly bands are very versatile when you don't wear a belt...

maybe a 'better holster' holster type shirt, but that may slow down the draw a bit unless she wears button up type shirts

I find a clip-on style IWB works very well with any kind of slacks and even skirts because you don't need a belt. Add a sweater set or a blazer and you're done.
Clip-on holsters work well for women because we have hips to help keep the gun from slipping down. If when wearing light polyester slacks and I'm carrying the heavy M&P 45 compact, I also use the band of my underwear as support.

You're probably also benefiting from the same thing that helps me carry a three lb. revolver IWB, provided you're using a leather holster. I don't wear underwear, so eventually the holster "sticks" in place and one's skin helps support it's weight.
