WITHDRAWN: UNCATALOGED M042
For sale is my near perfect and uncataloged M042. Marked "MOD042" inside the crane. No box or docs. Now $500 shipped. Consider possible trade for Blued Walther TPH in .22LR.
This aluminum framed M042 would make a near perfect cary piece or put back in the safe for a rainy day.

The rest of the story!
The Mod 042 was produced in 1992 only and was never cataloged. It is a Centennial Airweight without the grip safety of the older 42. They were made in high polish and matt blue finish. Some are found on an overstamped 642 frame! I have had 2 of these guns. It has been speculated these were made after the factory had problems getting the finish on the 642's correct. They use 38 S&W Spl cartridge.
