I just sent last payment on a 686P 7 round from Bud's. It will be my first .357 S&W. I have a Ruger 4" Service-Six, but I wanted a Smith. I hope I picked a good model, any replies on the gun will be appreciated.
Thanks,

I think you did fine! The 686 is a great gun and the 6" barrel will make target shooting seem too easy. I know you'll enjoy it.

A 686 is built like a tank, fire away.
