Default New member and just aquired a 2213.

Hi everyone,

I am a new member here and this is my first post. I just picked up my fourth S&W firearm yesterday. It is a sweet little 2213 and I would like to know where the best place to get extra recoil springs and mags and thing for this gun. Is the 2214 the same gun only blue? Will the 422,622,2206 mags fit and work in this pistol? Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Congrats on the newly acquired S&W. You are correct in that the 2214 is just tghe blued version of the 2213. On the magazine's though, I don't believe the 422/622/2204/41 mags will fit in the 2213 & 2214, as they are compact guns and believe they hold less than the 10/12 rounds the other models hold. If you check MidwayUSA they might show some for the 2213 & 2214.

Here's a link to the mags at Midway, they show them as 8rds. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...tnumber=407411

Oh yeah, we need to see pics

The longer mags for the 422 will fit. The mag release doesn't care if the mags stick out the bottom. I have never had a problem with mine with several thousand rounds thru it in the last year. I got my 2214 mags from Smith last year. Took about a month at the time.

Love to shoot high velocity stuff thru it. They give a nice muzzle flash and good noise for a 22.

When I am just plinking. I don't mind if the mag sticks out the bottom. So if I buy one of those 12 round mags for the 422/622 it will work?

Take a look on Gunbroker.com. I saw a magazine for the 2213/2214 on there the other day.

Haven't seen any 12 round mags, but yes the 10 round mag on Smith's website listed for the 41, 422, 622, 2206 will fit. SKU: 102620000

The mags for the 22A and 22S will NOT fit.

I found some 12 round mags for 24.99 plus shipping that say they are for the 422/622/2206.

Those 12 rounders should work just fine. All of the notches, lips and followers appear to be in the right place. I may have to order a few myself.
