Just thought I would post this up in case anyone is interested. I ran across it in my own job hunt. Unfortunately Prescott is a little far to commute from Phoenix and I'm in Architecture. Still would be fun...

Description
Cad Draftsman
Prescott Arizona :


Must convert Autocad 2D drawings to Solidworks 3D models and Solidworks drawings using *ANSI drafting standards. Two to Five years drafting experience with proficiency in Solidworks. Must have a mechanical aptitude and excellent communications skills, both written & verbal. Courses in CAD, Drafting, mathematics and geometry beneficial, degree not required. Salary DOE. Professional training will be instiutued.
Pre-employment Background and Drug test required in accordance with state and federal laws.

its not S&W but a close 2nd. plus i could move to AZ and escape PRK.
dang. woefully unqualified for that position myself though

If it wasn't for that Autocad 2D Solidworks, 3D models, Solidworks, ANSI drafting, and all that other junk I'd be perfect for the job. Wonder if they would accept "stays on the S&W Forum a lot and really likes guns as a substitute?"

It may involve drawing golf club heads and such for Ruger's Prescott casting plant, rather than guns. Nonetheless, gainful employment in Prescott, despite its invasion by Californian refugees, is a good thing.

I’m surprised their just at the point of converting drawings to Solidworks. 2D is rather passé.
