Hi guys, I just spent 2 hours on the web and phone trying to get a few 25 round mags for my 15-22. Everywhere, including S&W, was backorderd 2-3 weeks!!!!!! Well, i came across

Was there any final determination among those here debating the "25rd/22LR" marked mags versus just the "22LR"? Any measurable operating difference?

It would be really nice to see some pictures comparing the different mags. I haven't seen any pictures posted unless I missed them. I'd like to see side by side comparisons so we can see what is different.

Thanks, I found the following post...
new 25 round 15-22 magazine

Is that the one you were referring to? It would be nice to get some quality macro shots of them, especially the feed lips, to be able to compare. I've only got the generation 1 mags so I can't take any myself. If anyone has a camera with decent macro capabilities and both types of mags I would find that very helpful.

Push in bottom pin. Pull out base.

i have both "old" and new" they are identical as far as i can see.
