Default Range Report 2/28/2010

Well I just got back from shooting my brand new m&p 15-22. serial # DTX****It shot everything i fed it without a hitch. I fired slow ,medium, and very fast , no problems, i loaded the mags carefully and without care no difference. It was rather cold and snowy so i really did not try for any real accurate shooting. But it really shot a farly decent group off hand. I fired a total of about 250 rounds. Mostly federal auto match 40grain solids, some cci mini mags 36 grain hollow points and some windchester 36 grain 333 pack hollow points.I must say whenever everything is working right it sure is a joy to shoot.pghrich

Rich,

AWESOME report! Glad to hear that she is performing admirably and up to expectations now!

How about all this snow we're getting.... Jeez PA got hammered this winter! I'm about 45 mins on the outskirts of the Burgh.

Rich,

The only difference between the mags is at the mag lip area. Once in a while you may get what we refer to as a "Mag Snag" on the original 22LR mag, what happens is the round's rim gets stuck in pin ejector marks inside the front of the mag lips (and it's a bear to get the round out) I have not had that issue with the new 22LR 25 Rounds mag. I only had one mag snag out of 300+ rounds.
