Folks,
A few months ago I purchased some New 17 round Sigma Mags from CDNN.
I no longer have my Sigma, but the mags are NIP.
I have someone wanting to buy them, but he claims they won't work in New Sigmas???
IS THIS TRUE???
God Bless!!!

They work fine in the new Sigmas. The 17 round round Sigma F magazines and the Sigma VE magazines are completely interchangable.

Sometimes the top of the baseplate needs to have a few .001 sanded off to lock in the pistol, but they work fine

Hey, guys, quick question on same subject. Does this (interchangeability) apply on the 40F also?

Taking off the baseplate and sanding the side toward the gun has solved all the old Sigma magazines I've run into that do not quite lock in, including 40F mag in a SW40VE.

Months ago,I e-mailed S&W to confirm what I'd been told on this forum, that is, that Sigma VE and Sigma F magazines are interchangable. Yes, I was told, both 40 and 9. That was good news because I had some 17 round 9F mags that worked in the then new 9VE with its 4 16-round magazines and vice versa.

While we're on this thread about NIP mags I'm curious if 50 bucks off a sigma/M&P or two extra mags would be the better deal...

I would definately go with the 2 mags. I was fortunate enough to get $50 AND 2 mags earlier this year, but around here the mags sell for $40-$45 EACH! Personally I would get the mags, especially as they are hi-cap and they may be harder to come by in the future what with Obamamania and all. Just my opinion.

No, I still have them.
The parties that inquired were in Prohibited Locations or in a location I didn't feel comfortable shipping to because that state has an Assault Weapons Law!!!

get my sw9ve in an couple weeks and how it looks there arent any aftermarket or used 9mm magazins on the market, at least i could not find them.
any suggestions appreciated

I still have a Sigma 17 round Factory Mag.
I'll see if it fits my 5906.

thanks for checking. bad luck here, my 5906 is in swiss and my new sw9ve in usa, cant check.
i understand that the magazin baseplate may not allow to lock the mag fully in the magwell. the question is if longer 59 style mags will fit, maybe after some fitting of the magazinbuttonslot?
as fare i now there are no aftermarket magazins for the sigma so fare.
