Default Finally: ONE HAPPY CAMPER

Sent my 1522 off for FTEj FTEx OOB and dbl fire. When I first got it the rifle was'nt relaible with any ammo I tried even after at least 500 rnds of painful break-in.
I had to travel 55mi to the FedEx depot to pick it up after the bungled delivery, long story. But the good news is she's home and well
Took it out today right after bringing it home, loaded all three mags 2-2nd gen 1-1st gen each with a different ammo. Federal bulk 38gr hp from wally world,Winchester 40gr rnd nose SuperX and some 36gr Winchester HP bulk. Had only 1 FTEj with the 1st gen mag after about 10 rnds then flawless with the other 2nd gen mags. I even loaded the 1st gen mag with some Rem GB's that wouldnt even chamber before and now they fired with no problems
I had to take it to my Brothers and show it off and of course we had to shoot it and guess what . . . . . . NO PROBLEMS
Gonna be shooting it again as soon as I can to see what happens after a few hundred rounds.
Oh yeah, when I got it back it had the blue recoil spring and hammer spring and it looks like they did something to the sear and hammer surface like it's been polished or ground.
Just happy that it works as good as it did

Sounds great!

I'm curious if these new "blue" springs are stiffer or softer than the old springs.. I have one of the origional 15-22's, I've never had a problem with mine, It has a silver recoil spring.
