Default shooter 44 spcl tripple lock

i looked at a tripple lock today, its been renickeled and its flaking in a few spots, but still fairly tight, incorect grips but should make a good shooter, would it be worth $400?

Somebody posted about a similar one on Auction Arms that went for $900.

Triple lock for $901?

That makes the one you reference sound like a steal. If you are at all inclined to buy it, I would say by all means do so. Sounds like you could easily get rid of it if you decide it's not your cup of tea.

Finding ANY Triplelocks for under $1000 is difficult. With the price you just mentioned I would definately buy it, provided there is nothing majorly wrong with it. Incorrect grips are no big deal.

What kind of place is this that lets you shoot a gun before you buy it? Now that is a seller who puts the customer first!

In any event, it's your money, your choice. I just think it will be a long, long time before you see another TL for $400.

buy it ! or post where somebody else can buy it.

there was a TL on GB that was offered at around $900 recently, nickel/ re-nickel possible

i bought this beast for $250 in February ! shoots good, I was hitting gallon milk jugs at about 50-60 yards/paces with not much effort. early pre war magnas included at no extra cost

ElToro, what a great old revolver. I'd have sprained a shoulder getting to my wallet to pay $250 for that one. (smiley face goes here)

yeah, my head about exploded when the seller ( it was on consignmnt unpriced and not officially on the shelf) accepted my offer when my friend at the shop called him. the 10 day wait was pretty bad on this one ! plus it shoots ! even with the jinked up sights
