Default Anyone use Desantis "SuperFly" pocket holster?

Looks like this is an improvement on the Nemesis pocket holster. Costs a little more...does anyone here have one yet? My Uncle Mike's is getting old, and I'm looking for a replacement. The SuperFly doesn't have and open end like the Nemesis.

I don't have any experience with that holster, but the last time I looked at a new Uncle Mike's PH the stupid thing was made in Vietnam. YMMV, but I'm done with Mike (he ain't my uncle. My real uncle, Roger, left a leg in Vietnam ).

FWIW, if the holster is just filthy and not falling apart, Mike's PHs are washine washable.

I have one for my LCP. I like it a lot. I'm thinking of getting one for my J-frame.

This is the first I've heard of the Superfly...but I recently purchased a Nemesis and I'm happy with it. I just wish they would've sewn the tag on the outside instead of inside right where the cylinder rests up against.

Unlike the UM sidekick, the Nemesis will stay in your pocket when you draw it. I assume the superfly will too.

The Nemesis works well enough that I see no reason to buy a superfly for more money.

Ironically enough, I bought a Superfly for my 340 but I found the extra concealment panel made the set-up too thick. I took off the extra panel (pretty much making it a Nemesis) and it fit my pocket better and still did not print.

Either the Superfly or the Nemesis are decent pocket holsters. Mine stay in the pocket without any particular work or technique on my part.

Hope this helps.

The Superfly is just a Nemesis with a removal flap designed to hide the shape of the gun. I have both: a Superfly for my Ruger LCP and a Nemesis for my SIG Sauer P 232. I find that the Superfly prints a square image in a front pants pocket, so I often remove the flap. It conceals well without it. Both are good holsters.

Default Superfly

I had a rust problem from pocket sweat running on the grip screw and the thumbpiece of my 442. I reversed the flap on the Superfly to where it rests on my leg side of my pocket. I call it a sweat shield. No more chance of rust with my new 642. I have both the nemesis and superfly. They're both good holsters. It's hard to tell, but the superfly is a nemesis with a velcroed flap normally used to lessen printing. I have the flap about three quarters of an inch high to cover my grip screw.

I use a water resistant grease on the grip screws of my guns called Red and Tacky #2. Rust problem solved.

I use the SuperFly for a 3" 1911. Works very well. I use the Nemesis for S&W 442.
