I love 22"s No really Too much I think!
I have more 22's than all my other guns together. I have 3 Rem. nylon 66 rifles, 1 nylon 76 lever action rifle, 2 win. model 67 single hots rifles,2 high standard supermatic trophy models. a high standard sport king model, a SW model 17' a colt service model ace, a browning buckmark5.5, a browning medalist and looking to get a SW model 41 and a woodsman match target and a model 61 and 63 rifle before I'm through. I like the old stuff a lot. I really like the High Standards also. Fit and finishand accuracy are un - matched on the Hamden guns, except maybe the SW41 which eludes me for now.I've shot them all except the medalist and I will shoot it someday soon I hope.

Me too...I have 6 rifles and 2 pistols...that is down from 3 months ago, when I had 12 rifles and 6 pistols...I decided I had too many...so I trimmed it down...gave some away, sold the rest...now I'm thinking, "...I sure miss...Maybe I can find a good deal on..."
So it goes...I will most likely aquire a couple of pistols and at least one more rifle before fall...I have my eye on a couple of things FAD (Firearms Aquisition Disorder) is the "monkey" on my back....

I am in the same boat with you guys. I currently have 62 .22's in 19 different brand names. 11 High Standard, 9 Rugers, 8 S&W's, 7 Brownings and a variety of others. It's a good start.

When I was in college, I bought a Ruger 10-22 for plinking with a friend of mine. Would sit on a river bank and shoot squirrels and other such dangerous critters on the other side. Spent many an evening (and more than a few 6 packs) idling the time a way.
Then I found a gal I wanted to marry and I wanted to but an engagement ring. Only thing I had of value was that 10-22, which I sold for the down payment on the ring.
Sure do miss that rifle.

Wow, some of you have it bad. I only thought I was over board.
I have had many but an overactive trading gene sent them down the road. I'm suffering with these.
2 K-22 Masterpieces
My late fathers 3 screw Ruger single six with a pretty good story.
A High standard Sport King my uncle bought new in 1950.
a Bearcat for "my in a phone booth go to gun".
I have more K-22's in my future and hopefully an 18.
I bought a rough Marlin 25 at a gun show. bloody hand prints and pits from the back sight to the end of the bbl. I draw filed it, blued it, refinished the stock, scoped it and glass bedded it. Folks grumble when they shoot it better than their high dollar 22.
I only use the $25.00 Marlin now so I sold my Anschutz as it was collecting dust.
