327 Mag and 32 H&R data please
I am thinking of reloading for both these calibers using the same die set. Heck, I might even throw in 32 S&W Long for fun at times.
Anyway, I am wondering if anyone here has come up with a good recipe that used either an 85 or 100 gr jacketed bullet and the same powder. I shoot mostly at an indoor range, and lead bullets are not permitted indoors. I have a Dillon 550 progressive press and I know that changing the settings might be a pain, but I haven't tried it yet, so I'm not sure how long it will take to set for each.
I have seen some recipes using Red Dot, Titegroup and IRM 4227. I think I have even seen one for Lil'Gun as well. These are the powders I have been using and have on hand right now. I am not against getting another powder if someone has the greatest recipe of all time with another powder, please let me know, but since I do already have these four, I might want to see what might be possible for them.
Thanks for you help.

The Alliant 2005 reloading guide has some data for 32 H&R. PM me with your e-mail and I'llsend you the page.

Do a Google search for reloading the 327 and you should find a link to the article which was in American Handgunner or Shooting Times on reloading this cartridge.
BTW - I understand Federal will be offering brass[cataloged at MidSouth but not in stock].

I have a Model 432PD and the new 631 in 327 Federal, but I would also like to shoot 32 H&R through it as well.

Load data from Hodgdon web site. They do not allow copying the data directly so just type in pistol and 327 mag and it will pull all the bullet weights and powders.

The greatest recipe of all time...Maybe not...But, a plated Berry's 83gn HBWC over 2.9 gn of 231, in a 32 H&R case, with a Fed 100 to touch it off, sending it down a 6" tube screwed into a 16-4 comes pretty close.

I've shot a 32H&R mag load close to what TwoPoundPull mentions, 3.0 grains W231 with a 90gr Hornady HBWC, CCI 500 primers. It shoots 947fps out of a 6" 16-4 with fine accuracy and very little recoil.
Yeah, the Hornady is lead, but I offer it as a reference.
The Lyman 48th Edition says the max load jacketed 90gr JHC will shoot 980fps with 3.8gr W231. That's in line with my results. FWIW Lyman does not reference Red Dot, Titegroup or 4227 with 90gr or 100gr bullets in 32H&R mag.
I'm using Starline brass, which was all I could find. It's OK through four firings.
Good luck with it.

In a M-16 with 6 inch Bbl. I was getting almost 1300 fps with a 85 gn HP and 11 gns. H110. It would group one inch at 25yds all day long.
