Default BOUNTY HUNTER 44mag ?????

Saw a model 29 (3 or4") Bounty Hunter 44mag today, didn't give it much thought until the ride home. I've been wanting a blued revolver, whats the story on this model , apx age, is it blued or melonite ? I have a 29-3 nickel 6" AND is it worth $600 it appears to be in great shape although I didn't handle it

If I remember correctly, I believe these were 29-5 or 29-6 made around 1999. which would put them at the end of the model 29 model run.
Someone else jump in here if I am wrong.

They are making the model 29's again, however.

I have seen them around for awhile, they didn't seem to enjoy very good sales. I saw them for as low as $550.00. The finish appears to be kind of a dull blue/black. I think for the price they are a very good deal. Most any other 3" N frame is much more expensive.

They are 29-10s and made about 500 of them. Great shooting and handling .44s. For $600.00 I'd own it.
