What makes it really sweet is when the wife suggests it!

JJ, when I was doing my homework before I bought the sigma, 357 gave me a good education on the gun along with another friend.

We really do have some awesome guys in the club!

Hey guys... the M&P .45 Acp I own is the weapon. Its not a 1911 nor a Sigma we want. It's not a Glock. A SD will never be a M&P. Not to bash Sigma nor the SD. But it is a M&P. It is a hard core service pistol. Does not have the fat mag. But man is it a fine pointing device.

It has a way trick and clean fire control system. While it is a lawyer S&W system. It is much cleaner and to the point than Sigma and SD. And yes I have shot a SD .40. It's a Sigma / clean. I would have taken a Sigma .45 cleaned it up and marched on. Well OK SD will do it, NOT! So that left M&P, Glock, SF. I could not stand the egro's of the Block muchless the trick barrel that I can't stand. If I want to shoot pure lead, copper or a alloy Block lost out. The SF/M was coming but it still had the high bore axis of a good revolver and it's euro good looks if not metrosexul looking did nothing for me. Kind of like dirty biker love. LMAO!!!!

Many of you know what I think of a Sigma trigger. Mine was a gritty mess out of the box and i do not buy into the DA trigger. But that can be fixed. But a OEM M&P trigger is like,,, good. Mine got gritty after 500 rounds or so. I would really like to kick the sob's butt at S&W that has the bag of magic gritty dust and his lawyer. The grit in my M&P trigger is in the striker block. In my Sigma its as smooth as hot butter. In my M&P its like making love on a beach. BUT ,,, only in the take up travel. Of which can be almost solved. And yes my Sigma is being tested now with a new trigger to sear link. And yes it applies to M&P. And no,,, I won't be selling the mod.

The Sigma is a tool. The M&P is a weapon. Purchase both and weigh in. But remember M&P only came about because Sigma and SD did not produce.

I meant they did not produce the much needed .45 in Sigma and SD. Sorry for the confusion.
